Hi, I'm Emily Reese!

I'm an American engineer living in France since 2014. I’ve taught over 200,000 people to code and design websites and apps and have worked at Kickstarter, OpenClassrooms, Women Who Code, Rails Girls, Blue Bottle, the French government, and more. 

I’m currently living my civic tech best life as a big data lead at Assistance Publique - Hôpitaux de Paris (AP-HP), the giant Paris public hospital system.

I also passed the CAP Pâtissier (national French pastry diploma) in 2020 to lend some legitimacy to my side hobby.

I was born in the United States but live in Paris, France.
